States of Matter

  -water becomes a solid below 0°C

2.Liquid
  -weak bonds between molecules
  -takes shape of container
  -definite volume
  -molecules can move around each other and change places
  -water is liquid between 0°C and 100°C

3. Gas
  -no bonds between molecules
  - molecules are moving fast and changing places
  -no definite shape
  -no definite volume
  -water becomes a gas at 100°C
